About me
JoJo Blythen
I am is a qualified counsellor and work in person and online. My training was just outside of London and for my first year worked in a youth agency. Since then I have supported and worked with young people and adults for a number of years. My areas of work span, depression, anxiety, domestic abuse, body image, sexuality, work and relationships and blended families. I focuses on youth, LGBTQI, depression and anxiety and is a promoter of body positivity and has a specialism in ADHD both in young people and also adults. Our family home is open to foster children most of whom are neurodiverse and have additional needs.
My style is intuitive, engaging and always listening to what is said and not said. I want to welcome you from whatever background you are from and whatever you want to discuss.

My mission

My mission is to create and hold safe, welcoming spaces where every individuals especially those who are neurodivergent or part of the LGBTQI community feels seen, heard, and supported. I believe that everyone deserves a place to pause, to breathe, and to rediscover their calm. Through compassionate connection and a deep respect for each person’s unique identity and lived experience, I strive to foster an environment where healing, growth, and self-understanding can unfold at their own pace.

Qualifications

JoJo is counsellor registered Member with the BACP, with a level 2, 3 & 4 Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Additionally JoJo is trained in:
